Open Garden – Brian’s Garden
A large garden spanning 1.5 acres. The design close to the house is elegant and formal, well suiting the traditional style of the architecture. Stone steps and gravel paths wind down the slope to the Master Landscapers SA award-winning Japanese-style garden with red painted bridge and a little tearoom. Trees in the Japanese garden have been cleverly pruned to form a ‘roof’ and there are many other trees throughout the garden. A rose garden surrounded with box hedges. A foliage garden with lots of different textures and colours, some clipped plants. There is even a putting lawn and superb statuary in this beautiful garden.
General entry is $10 per adult, with some concessions available. Under 18 free entry. Please bring cash as EFTPOS may not be available. Always refer to Open Gardens SA website for the most up to date details.
