Seagrove – Open Gardens Victoria

Set in the quiet coastal village of Balnarring Beach on the Western Port side of the Mornington Peninsula, Seagrove is a 1.4ha garden that has evolved from a bare site into a richly planted landscape of lawns, wetlands, perennial borders, productive gardens and enclosed garden rooms.
Visitors can explore a diverse series of garden spaces, from the formal croquet lawn and vibrant poolside plantings of roses, dahlias, salvias, irises, foxgloves and lilies to the wetlands, where mature eucalypts surround a thriving micro-ecosystem visited by ducks, black cockatoos, kookaburras, frogs and abundant insect life.
During the open weekend, visitors can enjoy tea and biscuits with owner Dianne on the back deck from 11am–noon and 2pm–3pm each day, while Jack’s Model Train House will also be open during these times.
Seagrove celebrates the ongoing evolution of a garden shaped by its environment and the vision of its owners and horticultural team. A portion of gate takings will be donated to the Balnarring CFA.
