Bathurst Spring Spectacular
Nature enthusiasts are in for a blooming treat October 25-26 with the Bathurst Spring Spectacular! Started in 2006, the event has grown this year to offer so much for outdoor lovers – historic parks are dressed in their spring best, streets are lined with blossoming trees, and there are plenty of special events at Bathurst’s local attractions.
Green thumbs will love exploring eight of the best local gardens, ranging from large country gardens to intimate cottages bursting with colour, daffodils and tulips. Enjoy live music and entertainment along the garden paths, market stalls and a giant monster plant sale.
Beyond the open gardens there are Tours of Miss Traill’s House and Garden (October 26), the Out West Piano Fest (October 24-26) at Blacktown Farm, the Bathurst Farmers Market (October 25), a Roast Lunch at historic Abercrombie House (October 26) and the beautiful sites of Mayfield Garden’s Spring Festival (daily).
