Farm Tour – Mountain View Garlic

Part of The Great Trentham Spudfest – Discovery Day, Mountain View Garlic welcomes visitors to step onto a family-run farm and discover the seasonal rhythms of garlic growing at the foot of Mount Macedon.
Two guided farm tours running for around 1–1.5 hours offer a behind-the-scenes look at how premium garlic and seasonal produce are grown using sustainable practices. Visitors will learn the essentials of garlic cultivation, explore the paddocks where crops are grown and hear about the day-to-day life of a working farm.
After the tour, guests can browse the farm shop stocked with freshly harvested garlic, free-range eggs and a range of seasonal fruit and vegetables grown on-site or sourced locally.

Spudfest Discovery Day opens the gates to farms, gardens and makers across Trentham and neighbouring towns, offering a chance to explore the region’s rich volcanic soils and learn directly from the people who grow here year-round.
