Kinclaven is an historic two-acre garden surrounding a gracious old home that dates from the 1880s. The sloping site has been terraced, and the garden is a blend of different styles, varying from Italianate to English and Mediterranean to sub-tropical. The entrance court is spectacular – a fountain in an elegant, oval-shaped pond planted with water lilies and aquatic plants, and edged with clipped greenery, dramatically shoots a single spire of water high into the air. Small statues of cherubs positioned around the pond and other statuary add to the classical ambience.
Garden Size: 2 acres
