| Part of The Great Trentham Spudfest – Discovery Day, Little Hampton Farm invites visitors to slow down and experience the rhythms of a working sustainable farm just minutes from Trentham. At Little Hampton Farm, owners Simon Thew and Narelle Jackson will host two guided tours across the day, exploring soil health, biodiversity and regenerative growing practices, sharing the story of how the property has evolved into a thriving orchard and market garden. Set among rolling hills and productive paddocks, the experience is relaxed, family-friendly and deeply connected to the land. Visitors can pre-book wood-fired pizzas topped with produce grown metres from the oven, while seasonal produce boxes packed with fresh vegetables, herbs and farm staples are available to take home. Spudfest Discovery Day opens the gates to farms, gardens and makers across Trentham and neighbouring towns, offering a chance to explore the region’s rich volcanic soils and learn directly from the people who grow here year-round. |
