Radish can be planted pretty much all year round in most climates. Fast growing, different varieties have delicious, colourful bulbs, and edible leaves.

When to plant/sow in zone:
Requirements: Fun sun to part-shade; regular watering
Soil: Well-drained soil enriched with compost and/or well-rotted manure or organic pellets.
How to start: SEED: Best sown direct in the ground. Sow 10mm deep, 10cm apart, in rows 30cm apart. Can be sown and grown in a 20-30cm pot in premium potting mix. Sow 10mm deep, 10cm apart.
How to grow: Keep moist and thin to 5cm spacings once they have a few leaves.
When to harvest: Start harvesting from 4 weeks, when they're large enough to eat.
