On June 21, the Esk Garden Fair returns to Pipeliner Park in the picturesque Somerset region of South East Queensland. Visitors can look forward to a vibrant day of gardening inspiration and creativity. There’ll be guest speakers and interactive demonstrations, plus plenty of stalls offering rare and unusual plants, garden art and essentials. With live music and delicious food available, it’s like being at a country fair – a fun day out for the whole family!
This year’s headline feature is a first for Queensland: a large-scale mural will be painted live onto grass using non-toxic paint, transforming the hillside of the historic Old Esk Railway Station into a vibrant, living canvas. Designed by Toowoomba-based artist Alex Stalling, the garden-inspired mural will unfold in real time from 9 AM to 2 PM, making it a must-see fusion of gardening, art, and community spirit.
