Clear Springs – Open Gardens Victoria

Perched on a hilltop in Mirboo, among the rolling farmland of the Strzelecki Ranges, Clear Springs is the 1.5-acre home garden of landscape designer Matthew Henry. Evolving over more than 20 years, this rustic and romantic garden balances ornamental planting with productive landscapes, creating a richly layered and deeply personal garden.
Built largely from locally sourced and recycled materials, Clear Springs demonstrates how beauty and sustainability can work together. Orchards, vegetable gardens, poultry runs and beehives are woven through ornamental plantings, where hardy trees, shrubs, perennials, bulbs and self-seeding annuals form relaxed mixed borders designed to thrive with minimal intervention.
A coffee van will be onsite throughout the weekend, with plants available for purchase.
