Womin Djeka Balnarring Ngargee

Join in the fun of the 10th Womin Djeka Balnarring Ngargee – a family-friendly festival where the community can gather to share, begin conversations and walk with First Peoples. The event is presented by Balnarring preschool and is guided by Boon Wurrung Elder N’arwee’t Professor Briggs OAM through a very special collaboration.
Relax under the trees of Balnarring’s Emu Plains Reserve and listen to the fabulous sounds of established and emerging First Nations musos; join in some dancing; visit the market lane and join workshops – all lead by First Nations creatives.
Be inspired in the Caring for Country area where you can find out more about the wonderful volunteer groups who are striving to do their bit to look after local land, plants, animals and marine areas.
