Perth, WA, Australia - October 24, 2016: Botanic Gardens part of Kings Park in Perth, Western Australia. A number of flower beds are planted informally and showcase many of the indigenous species of Western Australia. Many are at their peak in late spring and early summer (when this was taken). The plants making up the floral clock require a formal design. In contrast to this formality, the surrounding flowerbed contains a diverse range of plants with different shapes and colours planted to create a more informal effect.
